I trained in Humanistic and Integrative Counselling in London, UK, where I completed my Diploma in 2018. I have since worked in a number of different settings, both with adults and adolescents. Alongside my practice, I also worked in the Non-Profit sector where my primary focus was working with young refugees and migrants, both with practical and therapeutic support.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy yoga, climbing and most recently learning to play the guitar.
I provide in-depth and short-term therapy to adults and adolescents. I am trained in both talking and creative therapy.
I see my role as providing a space where my clients can re-connect with parts of themselves that have been forgotten. If not attended to, this 'wild' self can be overcome by growing layers of fear, hurt, anger and a longing for what we did not have.
This can manifest as depression, a lack of meaning or deep feelings of unworthiness.
Therapy can help to untangle and make sense of the thoughts, feelings and behaviours that might be blocking a path to a renewed sense of spontaneity and adventure.
The beginnings of healing are grounded in the therapeutic relationship, one nurtured at the pace set by the client. My approach is integrative, which means I seek to meet my clients where they are and tailor sessions to their needs.
I offer reduced rates for people on low incomes, unemployed and students. Send me a message for details.
